What do Bay Area tech companies, cutthroat mobile gaming, underprivileged youth, and SF Giants have in common? GO FOR GOOD 2012! On July 20, 2012 The Go Game is producing an epic game to benefit San Francisco nonprofit Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.).
Companies such as Bingham McCutchen, Foundation Capital, Quorum Consulting, Sports Basement, Ubisoft, Vonchurch and Yammer will come together and compete in an over-the-top, high-tech urban adventure. This event is designed to raise funds for R.O.C.K programs, and to engage Bay Area companies in an unforgettable community teambuilding experience.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of Go for Good, and this time, R.O.C.K. has partnered with the San Francisco Giants. Much of the game will take place in and around AT&T park! Willie Mays trivia? Check! Garlic fries? Check! Splash hits? Maybe…
If you see hundreds of people whooping and hollering on a baseball-themed adventure — that’s us!
