The Letting Go Game

The Go Game with Mindful Twist

Letting Go Game

It’s no longer just a buzzword—hundreds of companies have integrated meditation and awareness training to improve productivity, reduce stress and help people operate better under pressure.

We know these can be difficult subjects to tackle in an accessible way, and we’ve hired trained professionals to make it an awesome, bonding experience with just the right amount of heartfelt communication. Built on the structure of our hugely popular Classic Game, the Letting Go Game sends teams on a series of indoor and outdoor missions that will:

  • Build awareness of self and the world around us
  • Develop stronger working relationships
  • Facilitate compassionate communication

Your team members are more likely to retain information when they’ve had an opportunity to implement these ideas through play. Play is the perfect way to capture the attention of everyone on your team. Even if the words “mindfulness” and “meditation” conjure up images of touchy feely jargon, our down-to-earth facilitators make the experience fun, engaging and accessible.

The Missions

We carefully select actors to lead teams through a secret agent-type mission, giving them the indication that anyone could be in on the action! They may be guided through a simple set of yoga stretches, a breif meditation or be encouraged to perform random acts of kindness.

These missions are intended to cultivate self-awareness and emotional intelligence in a playful and accessible way. They could engage in an appreciation circle with one another, or a compliment throw down. Players might be asked to identify their dream super power, as well as their personal kryptonite.

Players might be led through an awareness exercise or asked to connect with nature with a sense of awe and wonder. They may interact with new mindfulness technologies that can monitor stress and provide useful in-the-moment suggestions or tools.

These missions get teams to work together to create fun, heartfelt or calming media. Using a camera we provide, teams may capture a moment of laughter, recreate a heroic posture or film the ultimate relaxation how-to video for a stressed co-worker. After the game, teams reassemble to complete the day with opportunities to connect each other and see the photos and videos created.

At the Games’ Conclusion

Players gather to compare experiences and be guided through some final well-being exercises, using the tools from the game.

The day will complete with further opportunities to connect and get and give feedback, all with typical Go Game verve and humor in a down-to-earth setting.

Using the movies and photos created during the game, your team will bond over the day’s experiences and help each other take that peaceful, mindful feeling out of the game and into their lives.
